24-yr-old student dies after inhaling 2-3 bottles of laughing gas daily in UK

Long-term laughing gas abuse contributed to a 24-year-old student's death, according to an inquiry in the UK. Ellen Mercer, who died last year, inhaled up to three "big bottles" of nitrous oxide every day, Berkshire coroner's court heard. She was taken for emergency treatment after she reported that she could not walk and would fall over when she tried.
