2.5 lakh cine workers start strike over pay, work conditions

Nearly 2.5 lakh workers, under the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), started an indefinite strike on Tuesday as they demanded better pay and work conditions. "The workers are being made to work for over eight hours a day. No provision has been made for security of workers...The workers don't get payments even after 90 days," said FWICE's President.
