250 inmates of Pune jail to get loans under Maha bank's scheme

The Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank (MSCB) will start a loan scheme for prisoners from Yerawada jail. Under the first phase of the scheme, 250 prison inmates will be getting loans, following which, the scheme will be extended to other prisons in the state. The chairman of the bank said MSCB is first bank in India to give loans to inmates.
