A 25-year-old married woman in China who failed to fall pregnant after 12 months of trying discovered that she was born a man. The 25-year-old Chinese woman was told she had the male Y chromosome, despite having female genital organs and having lived as a woman. An X-ray revealed that her bones hadn't developed past the age of adolescence.
