A 25-year-old software engineer, Sheikh Akmal, died after falling in an uncovered underground water tank at his hostel in Hyderabad. A video of the incident has surfaced online, showing Akmal entering the hostel with groceries and falling in the tank after a few steps. A man lowered a pipe into the tank for Akmal to grab, but got no response.
