26 killed after high-voltage power cable falls on houses in Congo

Democratic Republic of Congo's government said that 26 people were killed after a high-tension power cable snapped and fell on houses and a market in the country's capital, Kinshasa. The national electricity company said the line fell during heavy rain on Wednesday morning and offered its condolences to the deceased's families. The deceased persons included 24 women and two men.
