26 of Iran's 31 provinces on COVID-19 red alert amid rising cases

Iran's Health Ministry on Monday said that 26 of its 31 provinces are on a COVID-19 red alert amid rising cases and deaths. Authorities recorded 3,902 new COVID-19 cases and 235 deaths in the past 24 hours. Iran, the worst coronavirus-hit country in the Middle East, has reported over 4.75 lakh COVID-19 cases and 27,192 deaths so far.
