26‑year‑old murders girlfriend in hotel, drinks poison after crime

Uttar Pradesh Police in Ambedkar Nagar said 26-year-old Kuldeep Gaur strangled his girlfriend Priya, 20, in a hotel after suspecting her of infidelity. He then consumed poison and alerted police and her mother. Priya was declared dead at a health centre, while Kuldeep survived after treatment. Evidence has been collected, and the investigation is underway, police said.
