26-yr-old man lynched in Tripura over suspicion of cattle theft

A 26-year-old man was allegedly lynched by a group of locals in Baramura village of Tripura's Sepahijala district over suspicion of cattle theft on Tuesday. As per police, he was critically injured after being thrashed by villagers, who claimed, he went to the village to lift cows for smuggling. He died on the way to Agartala's GBP Hospital, police informed.
