270 women may have died of cancer due to computer glitch: UK

Up to 270 women may have died due to a computer algorithm error which denied them their final breast cancer screening, UK Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said. Around 4.5 lakh women aged between 68 and 71 were not invited due to the glitch. UK women aged between 50 and 70 are invited for breast cancer screenings every three years.
