27-yr-old Jharkhand man lynched for alleged theft, couple detained

A 27-year-old man was allegedly lynched by a couple for stealing a battery from their tractor in Jharkhand's Seraikela Kharsawan on Saturday, police said. The man was mercilessly beaten up allegedly by the couple after he was caught red-handed trying to steal a battery and left lying at the spot till morning. The couple was detained for interrogation, police added.
