2.8 kg of gold stolen from SBI locker in Bihar, 1 held, 2 employees suspended

A contractual worker of the State Bank of India was arrested after 2.8 kg of gold worth ₹1.25 crore was stolen from the bank's Baijnathpur branch in Bihar. "It is beyond imagination how...keys to the locker were handed over to a contractual employee...cashier and...accountant were responsible for keeping the keys," police said. The two bank employees have been suspended.
