28 kg whale vomit worth ₹28 crore found by fishermen in Kerala

A group of fishermen from Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram found 28.4 kg of ambergris or 'whale vomit' worth ₹28 crore in the sea and handed it over to the Kerala Coastal Police. The ambergris was later collected by Kerala Forest Department. Ambergris, which is produced in the digestive system of sperm whales, is used to manufacture perfumes.
