28-year-old Hindu man beaten to death in Bangladesh

A 28-year-old Hindu man, Samir Das, was beaten to death in Bangladesh's Chittagong amid series of attacks on Hindus in the country. The attackers reportedly thrashed and stabbed Das to death before stealing his battery-operated auto-rickshaw and fleeing the scene. Earlier, India said that it's monitoring the situation in Bangladesh and hopes that acts of communal violence are addressed decisively.
