28-year-old MBA student loses ₹23 lakh in crypto scam in Nagpur

A 28-year-old man pursuing MBA course from a college in Maharashtra's Nagpur was allegedly cheated of ₹23 lakh after he was promised lucrative returns on cryptocurrency investments. The fraudster approached the student on the Telegram app and offered him ₹1,400 return on ₹1,000 crypto investment. The student then ended up investing ₹23 lakh, however, he didn't receive promised returns.
