28-year-old Shobushi becomes first sumo wrestler to die of coronavirus

Shobushi, a 28-year-old sumo wrestler infected with coronavirus has died, becoming the first sumo wrestler to die from the deadly virus, the Japan Sumo Association announced on Wednesday. Shobushi, whose real name was Kiyotaka Suetake, who suffered from diabetes, was moved to an intensive care unit on April 19. He was diagnosed with coronavirus last month.
