29 Afghan security personnel killed by Taliban in renewed clashes

At least 29 members of the Afghan security forces were killed in Taliban attacks. While 15 members of the Afghan army were killed at a security checkpoint in Kunduz province on Tuesday, 14 policemen were killed on Monday in Baghlan province. This comes after Afghanistan government's attack on the Islamist group on Sunday in which 51 Taliban militants were killed.
