29 new airports to be launched across India in next 20 years

The Indian government plans to build 29 greenfield airports over 20 years to enhance air connectivity in smaller cities, driving economic growth. Gujarat will receive nine new airports, with others in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The airports will support large international aircraft, while metro cities and tier-2/3 cities will benefit from new infrastructure to meet travel demand.
