2G mobile internet shut in Kashmir on Afzal Guru's death anniversary

Low-speed 2G mobile internet services were suspended in Kashmir on Sunday which marks the death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. Internet services were suspended in J&K since Article 370 revocation in August 2019. However, 2G mobile and broadband services were restored last month. Mild restrictions were also imposed in parts of Srinagar as a precautionary measure on Sunday.
