2-week-old Yemeni conjoined twins die without treatment abroad

Two-week-old conjoined twin boys who were in urgent need of treatment abroad have died in Yemen, which has been hit by a civil war that has killed over 10,000 since it began in 2015. The airport in Houthi-controlled Sanaa, where the twins were being treated, has been closed to civilian flights because the Saudi-led coalition has control over Yemeni airspace.
