3,035 Bihar teachers to lose jobs over fake degrees; salaries to be recovered with interest

The Bihar government will dismiss 3,035 government school teachers allegedly found to have secured jobs using fake degrees. Authorities have registered 1,830 FIRs against the accused following a vigilance investigation, reports said. The government has also decided to recover the salaries paid to the teachers, along with interest, as part of its action against the alleged recruitment fraud.
