3,190 Health Department posts vacant in Kashmir Valley

The J&K Assembly was informed that 3,190 Health Department posts are vacant in Kashmir Valley, including 2,744 paramedic posts, 276 Medical Officers, 152 Consultants and 18 Senior Consultants. Against 11,649 sanctioned posts under the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, only 8,459 personnel are currently in position, indicating a significant manpower shortage.
