3 arrested over alleged involvement in 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Kanpur

A Special Investigation Team probing the 1984 anti-Sikh riots arrested three people, all aged above 60, on Thursday. They were allegedly part of a mob that had torched houses, killing several people in Kanpur. They've been booked under several sections of the IPC including Section 302 (murder). The SIT has so far arrested 22 people in connection with the riots.
