3 BJP MLAs resign, NPP withdraws support from Manipur govt

Three BJP MLAs resigned and six other coalition MLAs including the Deputy CM withdrew support from the BJP-led coalition government in Manipur on Wednesday. One of the BJP's main allies, the National People's Party (NPP), also withdrew its support and pledged support to Congress. The three BJP MLAs who resigned are TT Haokip, S Subaschandra Singh and Samuel Jendai.
