Three bulk carriers were robbed in the Singapore Strait between August 8-9, a Singapore-based regional maritime security centre said. The incidents reportedly took place when the ships were in the Phillip Channel in the Singapore Strait. According to the centre, 50 such incidents have been recorded spanning from India to Indonesia and South Korea since January 23, 2023.
