3 children drown during Ganesh idol immersion in Ganga river in UP

Two children drowned and one died during treatment after they went to immerse Ganesh idols in the Ganga river in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao, police said. The incident took place on Friday as the Ganesh Chaturthi festival came to an end. This comes as four children drowned in the Aami river during immersion of Ganesh idols in Sant Kabir Nagar.
