3 clerks demoted to peon position in UP after failing to type 25 words in a minute

Kanpur administration has demoted three clerks to peon positions after they repeatedly failed to meet the required typing standards. Initially, their salary increments were withheld as they failed to type 25 words per minute. However, after failing the test again, they were demoted. They had originally been appointed as junior clerks under the compassionate appointment quota, reports said.
