3 cricketers assault Puducherry coach, leave him with 20 stitches on head & fractured shoulder

S Venkataraman, the Under-19 head coach of Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP), was allegedly assaulted by three cricketers on Monday over their non-inclusion in the team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Venkataraman has been left with 20 stitches on head and a shoulder fracture. The cricketers are said to be absconding.
