3 Iranian commanders among 11 killed as Israel bombs embassy in Syria

Iran said its embassy in Syria was hit by Israeli warplanes, killing 11 people, including three senior commanders, Reuters reported. Seven members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were among those killed, with Iran promising a "harsh response" to the strike. "We strongly condemn this atrocious terrorist attack," Syria's Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad said.
