3 Italians leave India without immigration check, govt pulls up Air India
In a major lapse in Air India's passenger-handling system, three Italians flew from Delhi to Munich without undergoing mandatory immigration check. This has prompted the Ministry of Civil Aviation to issue a show-cause notice to Air India, asking why action shouldn't be taken against the airline over the lapse. The passengers were travelling from Amritsar under airline's hub-and-spoke arrangement.
