3 killed, 3 injured after seaplane crashes off Australian island

Three people were killed and three others sustained injuries after a seaplane crashed during takeoff from an Australian tourist island. One of the seven people aboard the Cessna 208 Caravan was rescued without injury after the crash on Rottnest Island, police said. The plane, owned by Swan River Seaplanes, was reportedly returning to its base in Western Australia's Perth.
