3 killed in poll violence in Philippines' Muslim region

Three people were killed and 15 wounded when gunfire broke out near a polling station in Cotabato, capital of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (BARMM), hours before elections opened. Police said rival political factions clashed over queue positions. Separately, one man died after an explosion near another polling station. Over 20,000 security personnel were deployed across BARMM.
