3 massive oil tankers escape Strait of Hormuz chokehold using new trick: Report

Two supertankers and an LNG vessel escaped Iran's chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz by sailing while hugging their home country Oman's coastline, Bloomberg reported. Ships belonging to countries that Iran considers friendly usually take a northerly route to pass the Strait. The three ships were broadcasting that they were Omani and stopped sending position signals at 9:30 am (GMT).
