3 new species of snakes discovered in graves & churches in Ecuador

Three new species of underground snakes hidden under graveyards and churches in Ecuador have been discovered by scientists. These snakes are small, cylindrical and archaic-looking and belong to the genus Atractus. Though it's the most species-rich snake genus in the world, these snakes are lesser known as they remain hidden throughout most of their lives owing to their shy nature.
