3 newborns killed after ventilator blast triggers fire at hospital in Maha's Amravati

Three newborns were killed after a fire broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of District Women’s Hospital in Maharashtra’s Amravati early Monday. The fire reportedly erupted following an explosion in a ventilator inside the NICU, ANI reported. Doctors, nurses and other staff on duty launched an evacuation operation and managed to rescue several infants from the ward.
