3 parties in Guj run ₹1,870-cr donation scam & evade ₹560-cr tax, had fought elections

FIRs have been filed against political parties Bharatiya National Janata Dal (BNJD), Garib Kalyan Party and Swatantrata Abhivyakti Party for allegedly receiving donations totalling ₹1,869.61 crore and collectively evading taxes worth ₹560.02 crore in Gujarat. The parties, which fought elections, accepted donations through cheques and RTGS and issued fake donation receipts or slips to the donors.
