3 people selling 30 kg ivory tusks caught by police in Bengaluru

Three people selling ivory tusks weighing around 30 kgs were caught by police in Bengaluru. The arrests were reportedly made by the CK Acchukattu Police Station officers based on a tip-off. The tusks were believed to be of a well-grown 40 to 45-year-old elephant and were said to be worth ₹15-25 lakh per kg in the international market.
