3 police officers injured as COVID-19 protest turns violent in NZ

Police on Tuesday said a protester against COVID-19 mandates in New Zealand drove their car towards lines of police, with three officers taken to hospital after being sprayed with an unknown "stinging" substance. Protesters, inspired by Canada's 'Freedom Convoy', have camped near Wellington's Parliament for two weeks. "What's happening in Wellington is wrong," Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said.
