3 robots handed over to Pune civic body to help clean manholes

Three robots will be used to clean manholes in Pune. "These robots have been handed over to the civic solid waste management department...There have been incidents...when sanitation workers working in manholes have died...The use of robots for cleaning manholes would get the PMC's choked and blocked sewage lines cleaned without putting human life at risk," an official said.
