3 transgenders selected as government school teachers in Karnataka

The Karnataka government has recruited three transgender teachers for state-run primary schools. "1% reservation was given in teacher recruitment for gender minorities. For the first time, three gender minorities have been selected," Education Minister BC Nagesh said. According to reports, a total of ten transgender people took the exam, out of which three were shortlisted.
