3-year-old cancer patient dies after nurse injects him with formalin at AIIMS Bhopal

A 3-year-old battling blood cancer died at AIIMS Bhopal after a nurse allegedly injected formalin into his body. The chemical is used to preserve biopsy samples, tissues and bodies. His IV line had reportedly been blocked. A nurse allegedly picked up a syringe marked 'F' and injected its contents into the IV bottle without checking.
