3-year-old niece dies after man 'jokingly' slaps her in Maha, man sets body on fire

A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his three-year-old niece, burning her body and disposing it in the bushes in an attempt to destroy evidence in Maharashtra's Thane, police said. The accused, who confessed to the crime, claimed he didn't intentionally kill her but that she hit her head on a surface and died after he "jokingly" slapped her.
