3-year practice as lawyer mandatory to join judicial service: SC

The Supreme Court ruled that a candidate should've at least three years of practice as a lawyer to enter judicial service. "State governments shall amend rules to ensure...any candidate appearing for civil judges (junior division) exam shall have...minimum practice of three years," it said.
