30,000 people evacuated as wildfires sweep across France & Spain

More than 30,000 people have been evacuated as wildfires, fuelled by scorching temperatures and strong winds, swept through parts of France and Spain in Western Europe. Over 20,000 people, mostly tourists, were evacuated from France's Bordeaux region, while more than 10,000 people have been evacuated in Spain. Spanish government declared a state of emergency in the Madrid region.
