30 companies form AI security alliance, 3 massive AI labs remain out of it
A group of 30 companies, including Microsoft, Nvidia, SpaceX and Perplexity, formed the Open Secure AI Alliance to build open tools that promote responsible AI use. Explaining the need for the alliance, the group cited the Hugging Face breach by a rogue OpenAI model. Notably, three massive developers of closed AI models, OpenAI, Google and Anthropic, aren't in the alliance.
