300 cooperatives onboarded as buyers on Centre's GeM portal

The onboarding of cooperatives as buyers on the Centre's Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday. Over 300 cooperatives have registered as buyers on the public procurement portal, Shah announced. Registering as buyers will give these cooperatives access to goods and services at competitive prices, an official statement said.
