319 Pakistan displaced persons get Indian citizenship in Gujarat

Gujarat Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi presented Indian citizenship certificates to 319 displaced persons from Pakistan at a ceremony in Rajkot. The beneficiaries, including 259 from Rajkot and 53 from Morbi district, received citizenship under the CAA. Over 1,500 people in Gujarat have been granted citizenship under the Act so far.
