33-yr-old Piyush Chawla bought by Mumbai Indians for ₹50 lakh

Spinner Piyush Chawla was bought at his base price of ₹50 lakh by Mumbai Indians at the IPL 2023 auction on Friday. Notably, Chawla was bought for ₹6.75 crore by Chennai Super Kings in 2020 and then by MI for ₹2.4 crore in 2021. The 33-year-old cricketer was part of the IPL-winning Kolkata Knight Riders team in 2014.
