Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday the formation of a 34-nation Islamic military alliance, including Egypt, UAE, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and some African countries, for fighting terrorism in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt and Afghanistan. The announcement suggested a "duty to protect the Islamic nation from the evils of all terrorist groups... which wreak death and corruption on earth".
