34 properties demolished in 24 hours amid crackdown after PG collapse in Delhi

The MCD carried out 34 demolitions and sealed 17 properties across Delhi on Wednesday amid a crackdown on unauthorised and unsafe structures. It also surveyed 1,252 PG buildings, finding three dangerous, nine requiring major repairs and 39 requiring minor repairs. This comes after the PG collapse in Satya Niketan killed seven people. MCD has conducted 1,053 demolitions since June 1.
